We spend a lot of time on public forums, reading discussions related to the product/service, specific reviews. We post questions and comments. We also do general internet research (Google) and determine the competitiveness and, in some cases, better alternatives. We generally like to give a product/service a bit of time on the market, before promoting here. This gives it time to better establish itself and to allow the developers to work out any bugs and also people to talk about it within the forums. We spend an extensive amount of time researching before we decide to promote a product/service on this site.
Once we have decided we feel a product/service is of high quality and is appreciated by its existing customers, we put together our bonus package.
